The first card file contains entries for all books in the1828 catalogue for which the Rare Book Division now owns duplicate titles. The call numbers of the books are included. The second card file is an index to publishers, translators and other names associated with the titles and also contains references to the corresponding page number in the 1828 catalogue. The third (incomplete?) card file appears to be a breakdown of the 1828 titles by the original subject categories. It also contains corresponding page numbers.
